GISENYI, RWANDA. JEAN ELIE GASANA. MARCH 4, 2014.

Jean Elie Gasana Coordinator for Other Sheep Rwanda and Other Sheep Dem. Rep. of the Cong, in an email dated March 4, 2014 writes:

“our friends from Uganda are suffering due to, what you may be aware of, the anti-gay bill in Uganda. Now, some of our friends (LGBTI) from Uganda are moving from Uganda to Rwanda for security reasons and they do not have the means to survive (no food, no accommodation, no medical insurance, etc). At my place – a small house, I am currently housing two LGBT asylum seekers from Uganda even though my means is so limited). For this reason, I am kindly requesting that you keep our friends from Uganda in your thoughts and prayers due to the fact they are facing so many challenges.

Other Sheep Rwanda is thinking about creating a ‘safe house’ for our Uganda asylum seekers, however our means is so very limited.  Along with your prayers, we need your financial support in order to create a safe house.

May the hand of our Almighty God continue to be upon you and yours.”
