At the February 2015 annual business meeting of the Board of Directors, the board members elected Robert Hensley as their chairperson.
Rob is a retired Episcopal priest who has served parishes and social agencies in Illinois, Texas, Washington, D.C. and Massachusetts. He was instrumental in the founding of Shelter Care Ministries in Rockford, IL, a transitional housing program for homeless persons, and the growth and expansion of the AIDS Interfaith Network of North Texas. While serving at St. Margaret’s Church in Washington, he served as interim Director of Charlie’s Place homeless breakfast program. He has also served in a number of capacities with Integrity Chapters in the dioceses in which he has served. Integrity is the Episcopal ministry working for the full inclusion of LGBTQ persons within the denomination and beyond. He has served on the Board of Other Sheep since 2007.
Rob and his husband Michael live in Illinois.
